Who we are
Mulgowie Farming

True to the ideals of the family, Mulgowie are proud to be actively involved in the communities in which we operate and we support many local non-profit, people/community and educational institutes who share our goal of improved health, nutrition and sense of community in rural areas.

Mulgowie commitments in action

Economic

We strive to be the best at what we do and provide a solid economic foundation for the communities in which we operate through partnering with local growers, providing employment opportunities and supporting local services and trades.

Charity 72

John and Dell Emerick set up Charity 72 in 2009 and with the help of a generous group of volunteers raised $30,000 in 2011 through selling Mulgowie vegetables at farmers markets throughout Brisbane.

Community

We extend our gratitude to the local communities where we operate through supporting local events and activities.

Health and Wellness

Embracing an active lifestyle is a key component to health and wellness, for this reason we sponsor a range of local sporting teams and sports events including the annual fun run at Mulgowie on the first Saturday in September each year.

Not For Profit

Each year at every opportunity we support the endeavours of Food Bank to deliver fresh wholesome foods to families in need.

Nutrition

Each year we encourage people to try our fresh produce and promote our industry through taste sampling, in 2011 over 20,000 people sampled our sweet corn through our participation in agricultural shows.
